Le French Chalet is situated in the small hamlet of Planchamp in the French Alps - 10k from Bourg St Maurice. A five minute drive (3.5K) to Villaroger and Le Pre with its direct ski lift access to Les Arcs 2000. (chalet altitude 1100metres)

Transport to and from Bourg St. Maurice is included in the cost of staying in the Chalet.

Access Information

Plane - A range of budget airlines fly into the following airports. Geneva Airport  is about 2.5hrs drive from the chalet, it also has both bus and rail links to Bourg St. Maurice.  Both Lyon and St. Etienne are within 2.5hrs driving distance, Grenoble - 2hrs., and Chamberry Airport takes about 1.5 hrs.

Train - Bourg St. Maurice has a well connected SNCF station and Eurostar runs services from London St. Pancreas and Ashford Kent. It is also possile to book Eurostar to Paris - changing to SNCF to travel by day or sleeper - the latter arrives in Bourg St. Maurice early morning. 

Driving - A 9 - 12hr drive from the Ferry port. Directions will be sent when booking form is received. All but for the last 30km to chalet from the channel ports is motorway/dual carriageway.

Coach - Luxury sleeper coach from London Victoria every Friday – late afternoon –  arriving in Moutiers early on Saturday morning. We can advise/arrange  transport up to the Chalet from Moutiers. www.skimeribel.co.uk
